When I set off for my journey, I made Bergan Bagel my first stop as a bakery or bread shop is a place almost omnipresent in fairy tales. Then I decided to pick a color and follow it. Red is the first color comes into my mind as I saw a poster of the film “ Turning Red”. Then I walked toward the directions of any red objects and they led me to the Bank of America with a red signboard. After that, I kept following the trace of red and came to a giant red butterfly graffiti on a yellow wall, a pizza shop, and a building with red bricks. Then I saw a dog so I planned to follow it somewhere and it led me to Forte Greene Park. As I enter the park I saw a bronze tower on the top of the mountain and I decided to walk around it, where I found a bunch of acorns on the ground. I randomly picked up some pine cones and then counted them. There are forty-two of them so I used this number as the steps that I’m going to walk in the direction of my home. I came to TD Bank with a green signboard. What color matches green? I feel it should be purple so I chose to follow purple this time and it leads me to the end of the adventure, a bookstore with a purple flag.

Follow the bread crumb,
smell of gold,
red thread keeps spreading to the west,
crimson dream blossoms on the snow white’s mansion,
her gardener paints the wall with pizza,
their cat lives happily inside a cottage made of red bricks,
their dog runs in the park searching for the fragrance of acorns,
counting while laughing,
going back toward the direction of home,
spring brings me coins,
and that trace of purple is smiling in the wind.
